Konecranes is to deliver four RTGs to TCV Stevedoring Company in Spain. When the four RTGs on order go into operation, TCV will operate a fleet of 20 Konecranes RTGs.
It is expected the cranes will be delivered in the first quarter of 2016. The 16-wheel RTGs will be equipped with Konecranes' active load control, diesel fuel saver system, auto-steering and crane management system.
They will have a lifting capacity of 50 tonnes to operate in twin-lift operation, and will stack one-over-five containers high, and six plus truck lane wide.
