GEAR | Norway’s Aquaship orders fish handling packages for two converted wellboats

Norwegian shipowner Aquaship has selected technology supplier Cflow Fish Handling to deliver fish handling technology for two of its wellboats.

Cflow will deliver complete water treatment and fish handling systems for Grip Marine and Grip Explorer, two platform supply vessels (PSVs) that have been converted into wellboats with 3,300-cubic-metre capacities.

Cflow said the advanced control system will be capable of monitoring the fish handling operations on board each wellboat and build data to continuously improve fish welfare and efficiency.
