Following the success of its MO engine range, Steyr Motors is releasing a new series of engines.

The SE range of six-cylinder marine diesel engines has been developed to meet with the EPA Tier III requirements. Featuring a range of technical improvements, the engines have been manufactured with a sophisticated, modern look in mind.

Major design features include a coolant recovery system, optimised exhaust manifold, tube-stack heat exchanger with improved serviceability, 120-amp alternator as standard (150 amps optional) and variable injection timing. All SE engines are manufactured using Steyr's monoblock design and patented two-stage unit injector and are also available with SOLAS certification.
