High-speed propulsion package from Masson-Marine
Masson-Marine is offering a propulsion package dedicated to high-speed engines running under continuous, heavy-duty conditions.
Its W20200 non-reverse gearbox will allow shipbuilders to take full advantage of high-speed engines and boost ships' performance to 80 tonnes bollard pull, using two 2,240kW engines at 1,800rpm through 9:1 ratio gearboxes.
The whole package includes BV/ABS class certificate, controllable-pitch propeller (CPP) with MMS/MMI shafting system, a chock-fast stern tube with sealing, a remote control system with panels, a 850kW shaft-generator and a W20200 ratio 9:1 gearbox model.
