Norwegian propeller manufacturer, Helseth Propulsion, has recently launched a new propeller series, the SX.
This propeller is a further development of Helseth's TX series, which has been in use in a number of vessels for over ten years.
The new series features several important modifications. The pitch mechanism is now even stronger in order to meet the demands of offshore use, the new pitch hydraulics are based on an advanced proportional system ensuring exact and fast response.
All in all, its weight has been reduced and reliability has been improved without any increase in cost. The new series is suitable for motor power from 800 to 4,500kW
