GEAR | Fuel injector manufacturer acquired by new owners

Turbocharging systems specialist Accelleron Industries has confirmed its upcoming acquisition of Officine Meccaniche Torino OMT, a manufacturer of fuel injection systems for marine engines.
Accelleron said it expects to complete the acquisition within the next few weeks. Once completed, Accelleron will take over OMT in its entirety, retaining all employees as well as the brand name.
The acquisition will help expand Accelleron’s ability to serve clients that aim to adopt lower-carbon alternative marine fuels such as hydrogen, methanol, and ammonia.
