Engtek Manoeuvra Systems has received order from Optic Marine Services (OMS) to supply four azimuthing deck-mounted electric propulsion systems utilising the E-Pod concept for a 55-metre cable laying barge.
Engtek's unique deck-mounted propulsion units are suitable for all types of marine applications. Comprising dynamic rotatable propulsion units electric-podded technology, Engtek offers compact designs, efficient, silent operation and low maintenance, among other benefits.
The order for includes four deck-mounted 20-foot containers with diesel-gensets, VFD drives, switch boards, local controls, day tank and full fire suppression system.
