Jemar Norpower chooses Raymarine

Boatbuilder Jemar Norpower has signed a contract to supply seismic company CGG Veritas with up to 17 workboats, all of which will be fitted out with Raymarine equipment.

CGG Veritas has a fleet of 19 seismic vessels that operates all over the world. The contract, secured by Belamarin, Raymarine's subsidiary in Norway, involves fitting Raymarine instruments on the new CGG Veritas workboats, which will support the main seismic vessels. The workboats will be equipped with the Raymarine E140 widescreen multifunction display, CAM100 day-and-night camera, DSM300 echo sounder, RD418HD HD Digital radar, SPX-autopilot, AIS650 transponder and a Ray218E VHF.

Jemar has delivered the first of the workboats to CGG Veritas, and one more will follow before year end. Jemar is renowned for its "Malo" fishing boats, which have been built since 1965.
