Australia: Tasmanian company Pivot Maritime International was awarded a national export award at the 47th Australian Export Awards in Canberra recently.

Pivot Maritime creates maritime simulations based on a high level of realism and accuracy. The company claims to be the only one in the world that both produces and uses maritime simulators.

Over the past ten years Pivot Maritime has carved a niche in maritime simulation, training and consultancy with its flexible and cost-effective simulation systems. The company produces a wide range of simulators, from small boat to integrated bridge simulators. These are configured to meet the various training, consultancy, and research and development needs of the commercial shipping, defence and small/recreational boat sectors.
