Comar Systems's AIS-3R can deliver AIS data simultaneously to a chart plotter and a PC navigation program to give complete flexibility anywhere in the world on your PC or laptop.

Flexible connection options enable the user to power the AIS-3R unit via the USB connection from a PC or laptop or through the external 12/24VDC.  Data is output both via the USB to the PC and NMEA 0183 data to the Chartplotter via the power/data port. When connected to a PC, input from a GPS can also be connected via the power/data port, which is multiplexed with the AIS data to add position information for the PC program. All that is needed is a VHF antenna connection

Rugged and compact, the AIS-3R is designed for simple installation and maximum performance on board or at home. The receiver used in the AIS-3R is from the latest generation of high-performance, dual-channel receivers. It reads and decodes all AIS messages specified and transmitted by AIS Class A and Class B transponders, AIS SARTs and Aids to Navigation.  All the static and dynamic information on AIS targets received can then be displayed on any AIS compatible Chart Plotter or PC navigation program.
