Alphatron Marine will use the Europort 2009 conference event to launch an extensive range of new products.
A summary of the new products and existing product line extensions are outlined below:
Intellian satellite antenna systems
Besides the exisiting Sat-TV antennas, Intellian introduces V-sat systems.
This includes a full line up of new V-sat antenna systems, ranging from small 60cm to larger 130cm systems, able to provide worldwide coverage.
Alphatainment
On board a modern vessel, communication possibilities and entertainment prove to be more important every day. Alphatron is proud to introduce Alphatainment, a combined and versatile system enabling TV reception all over the world, select video on demand, send an email or surf the internet. The system is scalable, from TV only up to a full communication and entertainment suite with world wide coverage.
Alphacommand multifunctional control chair (Navis Dynamic Positioning)
Offshore is a very demanding sector in the marine industry. Human/machine interfacing is a key subject in order to safeguard stress-free working conditions. Alphatron Marine introduces the Alphacommand, a multifunctional control chair.
Besides the Norsap quality, Alphatron engineered fully integrated armrest housings. Each armrest includes a 15 inch TFT Touch screen monitor for DP, CCTV, slave conning, radar or another freely selectable function.
Furthermore, this chair offers all relevant functions within an arm length, such as Autopilot, Window Wiper Control, Engine start/stop button, Bowthruster control and a multifunctional Alphaline MFC TFT panel enabling to switch TFT screens, hydro acoustic devices and Cyscan.
DP system Navis
Navis has rapidly become a respected name in the field of Dynamic Position System. The relationship with Alphatron Marine started years ago when Navis introduced their versatile range of dynamic positioning products.
Marine IT solutions
IT is regarded a typical non-marine electronics item for many marine electronic suppliers, simply because their engineers are not qualified or experienced enough in this particular field. Since Alphatron IT systems is fully integrated with Alphatron Marine, they are able to offer full IT support. This is reached by creating a group of specialists with IT expertise in the Marine Electronic Group. Various ship-owners selected Alphatron Marine IT in order to take care of their on board IT network.
JMA 610 Inland river radar
A special segment of marine electronics is the inland navigation segment. Alphatron Marine has steadily grown to become market leader in this typically Rhine/Donau orientated market. The Alphatron/JRC river radar is known for its reliability and innovative character. More than 3000 radars have been installed since the introduction of the Alphatron/JRC river radar JMA 608 in 1998.
Alpha IAIS
Alphatron Marine also introduces her own AIS AlphaIAIS, a compact unit, made in Sweden – Available with dedicated operation unit or as an integrated system.
Alphamulticourse
For the first time at show: the new Alphamulticourse. This product combines Seapilot, Riverpilot and a Joystick system with position hold facility into one integrated system.
The Alphamulticourse is designed for river or sea going workboats like patrol vessels, workboats, ferries or windfarm service vessels. The ease of operation of the system enables control, only by one joystick. The system will safe fuel and eases operations on various kinds of vessels by a rapidly changing crew.
Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System
A new rule will force the mandatory installation of a so called BNWAS system on board vessels. The Alphatron AlphaBNWAS system is ready and available in various configurations in order to comply with the rules.
Full Ecdis training facility
Alphamarine offers a fully equipped mission simulator as well as a training college in order to comply with the latest IMO rules for mandatory training at a competitive price level.
