San Francisco, USA: Bay Delta Maritime has just completed sea trials of their new tug, 'Delta Billie'. The tug features a JonRie Series 525 towing winch aft with an independent drive gypsy.
The winch has a line pull of 50 tonnes and a line speed of twelve metres/minute and has the capacity to spool 775 metres of 62mm wire.
The tug is a Jensen Design and has a length of 30.48 metres, a beam of 12.19 metres and a draught of 5.48 metres. 'Delta Billie' has a bollard pull of 75 tonnes.
