GEA Westfalia has recently been granted type approval for a bilge separator in accordance with IMO resolution Marine Environment Protection Committee (107) 49.

Regulations for pumping off bilge to sea dictate that the residual oil content must not be higher than 15ppm.

GEA Westfalia has achieved this with the BilgeMaster 200 and has been granted type approval with certification in accordance with the IMO Resolution MEPC 107(49).

The separator does not use adsorption filters or chemicals, but only mechanical technology. The BilgeMaster 200 is the smallest in the BilgeMaster series. It is based on a non-self-cleaning separator WTC 2 with a capacity range up to 200 litres per hour.
