Polish salmon producer Suempol will carry out a new investment project in the Pełczyce municipality in the voivodeship of West Pomerania.
Suempol said the project is in line with its consistent growth strategy, which entails investing in production facilities and modern technologies in Poland and overseas.
As part of the investment, a modern fish processing centre will be established. The company said the facility will incorporate advanced technological solutions and meet high standards in terms of quality, production safety, and environmental responsibility.
Approximately 300 people will be employed at the production plant, which is scheduled to become operational in the fourth quarter of 2027.
The Pełczyce facility will have a rated production capacity of 50,000 tons.
As part of the project, Suempol will conduct a dialogue with the local community at Pełczyce.
On August 26 and 27, residents of the Pełczyce municipality will have the opportunity to take part in a reference visit to Suempol’s main production facility in Bielsk Podlaski.
Participants will be able to learn more about the plant’s operations, the technologies and environmental solutions in use, as well as quality and safety standards, and speak directly with company representatives.
