Iceland’s Fisk Seafood to acquire local longlining company

Iceland's Fisk Seafood has entered into an agreement to acquire local fishing vessel operator Ölduósi.

The acquisition also covers Ölduósi's sole vessel, a 12-metre, FRP longline boat built by Trefjar in 2007 (pictured).

The transaction remains subject to approval by the Icelandic Competition Authority.
