Dutch marine services provider OOS Group, through subsidiary OOS Engineering, has acquired Leenaars Marine and Offshore Design (LMO), a local naval architecture company specialising in offshore vessels and platforms.

The acquisition by OOS will also see LMO expand further into aquaculture design work. Specifically, it will venture into the development of viable designs of seaweed farms and fish farms that may be positioned within close proximity of offshore wind platforms.

Following the acquisition, LMO will relocate from Hellevoetsluis to Serooskerke, where OOS is headquartered.
