Designed by Macduff Ship Design to BV and MCA regulations, Endeavour V has an LOA of 34 metres, a beam of 10.5 metres, a displacement of 905 tonnes, and capacity for 2,200 stacking boxes in the hold. A speed of 13 knots was achieved during sea trials in the Moray Firth.

The hull was completed in Finomar Shipyard in Szczecin, Poland, and later transferred to Macduff’s facilities for final outfitting.
