Vyborg Shipyard launches trawler Yuri Matochkin

Russia’s Vyborg Shipyard has launched a new Project KMT02 trawler-processor ordered by local company Atlantrybflot.

Yuri Matochkin is the second of three Project KMT02 vessels being built by Vyborg for the same owner.

The ice-class vessel will have a length of 80.4 metres, a beam of 15.4 metres, a draught of 6.51 metres, a displacement of 5,563 tonnes, one 4.64MW main engine, and equipment for bottom trawling. It is designed to have a freezing capacity of up to 100 tonnes per day and a total cargo hold capacity of 2,375 cubic metres.
