Severnaya Verf starts building fourth Project 170701 trawler-processor for Norebo

United Shipbuilding Corporation’s (USC) Severnaya Verf has begun construction on a Project 170701 trawler-processor ordered by Norebo Group on behalf of the Murmansk Provincial Fishing Fleet.

The trawler will have a length of 81.6 metres, a beam of 16 metres, a displacement of 5,500 tonnes, a crew of 80, and a speed of 15 knots. It will also have fish freezing and processing capacities of 100 tonnes per day and 150 tonnes per day, respectively.

The vessel is the fourth Project 170701 trawler-processor ordered by Norebo from Severnaya Verf. Keel-laying will take place in November of this year while delivery is scheduled for 2022.
