New trawler Adenia ordered for 2019 delivery
Scotland’s Adenia Fishing Company, based in Lerwick, Shetland, has ordered a new midwater trawler to be built at Spain’s Astilleros Zamakona.
Due for delivery in June 2019, the Salt Ship-designed Adenia will measure in at 69.9 by 15.6 metres for a total capacity of greater than 2,000m3.
She was designed specifically to optimise Adenia’s take based on its quotas and the areas the vessel will fish in.
