First steel cut for Russian Fishery Company’s sixth Project ST192 trawler

Russia’s Admiralty Shipyard has cut the first steel for the sixth of 10 Project ST192 freezer trawlers ordered by Russian Fishery Company.

The Skipsteknisk-designed vessel will measure 108 by 21 metres and will have a cargo hold capacity of 5,500 cubic metres.

The trawler will be used to fish for herring and pollock in the Barents Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk.
