Russian fishing company Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet has taken delivery of the Project KMT01 ice-class factory trawler Norvezhskoye More from local builder Vyborg Shipyard.

The 86-metre newbuild will soon begin undergoing operational trials before it commences regular fishing activities with its new owners.

Designed by Russia’s Marine Engineering Bureau and Norway’s Skipsteknisk, Norvezhskoye More is the second Project KMT01 to be delivered to the same customer. It will be operated primarily in the Northern Fishery Basin off Norway’s Svalbard archipelago.
