Skår Senior orders purser/trawler from Stadyard

Norway’s Skår Senior has placed an order for a combination purse seiner/trawler from local builder Stadyard.

The Marin Teknikk-designed vessel will have an LOA of 48.3 metres, a beam of 12 metres, and an RSW capacity of 500 cubic metres. It will be used to fish for capelin, herring, and mackerel in the Barents and North Seas.

Delivery is scheduled for December 2021.
