Scotland’s Macduff Shipyards has completed construction of two new seiners in a series ordered by fisherman Stewart Buchan of Fraserburgh.
Sister vessels Crystal River and Faithful each have an LOA of 26.5 metres, a beam of 7.8 metres, a depth of 4.2 metres, and a Caterpillar C32 main engine that produces 558 kW at 1,800 rpm.
The seiners were designed by Macduff Ship Design to replace two older, similarly named vessels in the same owner’s fleet.
