Havbør’s newest factory seiner hits the water
A new fishing vessel ordered by Norwegian operator Havbør has been launched at the facilities of Özata Shipyard in Turkey.
Vikanøy was designed by NSK Ship Design for both Danish seining and purse seining. Once completed, it will have a length of 44.2 metres, a beam of 11.5 metres, and a total RSW tank capacity of 500 cubic metres.
The vessel will also be equipped with a factory on the main deck.
