Pingtan Marine deploys newbuild seiners to Indian Ocean
China’s Pingtan Marine Enterprise deployed three newbuild seiners from its Fuzhou facility on November 16.
This follows a deployment of an earlier batch of four vessels on November 7. The remaining twenty vessels will be gradually deployed in batches as well.
All 27 seiners will operate in designated fishing areas in the international waters of the Indian Ocean.
