Philippine Fisheries Development Authority acquires fish port workboat

The Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) has taken delivery of a new FRP centre console workboat from local builder BangkaPro.

The newbuild has an LOA of 5.88 metres, seating for up to eight people, and space for an anchor locker, mooring ropes, and lifejackets. Power is provided by a Mercury outboard engine.

The PFDA will operate the boat in the waters off the Navotas Fish Port Complex in Navotas City just outside Manila.
