Tersan scores Danish order for factory trawler

Turkey’s Tersan Shipyard has been selected to build a new triple-rig trawler for Danish seafood company Ocean Prawns.
The Skipsteknisk-designed vessel will have an LOA of 82.3 metres, a beam of 18 metres, and a fishroom capacity of 1,200 tonnes. The factory deck will also be designed for processing of Greenland halibut in addition to shrimp.
The trawler is scheduled to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2022.
