Live fish carrier ordered from Havyard
Havyard has signed a new contract with Norsk Fisketransport (NFT) for the delivery of a live fish carrier in June 2020.
NFT has until summer 2019 to exercise an option for another vessel of the same make.
The vessel will be 84.8 metres long, 16.9 metres wide and have a total well volume of 3,200m3.
Havyard subsidiary MMC First Process will deliver the on-board fish handling system, Norwegian Electric Systems and Norwegian Control Systems will deliver everything from the bridge to the propeller. Havyard division Ship Design and Solutions is responsible for the design, and Shipbuilding Technology will equip the vessel together with Production and Services.
