First sea trials concluded for DESS Aquaculture’s newest wellboat

Turkey’s Sefine Shipyard has completed the first series of sea trials for Aqua Skye, a new wellboat being built for DESS Aquaculture Shipping of Norway.

The vessel is the fifth in a series of 3,900-cubic-metre wellboats ordered by DESS from Sefine.

Aqua Skye is scheduled for delivery to its new owners in 2021. It is slated for long-term operations in Scottish waters.
