Sefine cuts steel for Dess’ new live carrier

Turkey’s Sefine Shipyard has cut the first steel for a new live fish carrier ordered by Dess Aquaculture Shipping of Norway.

The BV-classed vessel will have an LOA of 84.4 metres, a beam of 16 metres, a draught of 7.4 metres, and a fish hold capacity of 3,900 cubic metres.

Power will be provided by three Yanmar 6EY22ALW 1,300kW engines.
