Havyard has signed a NOK 1 billion (US$120 million) contract with Norsk Fisketransport (NFT) for a further two wellboats with an option for one more.
These will be the fifth and sixth wellboats in a series that NFT has ordered from Havyard. Deliveries of the two vessels are scheduled for December 2020 and June 2021, respectively.
The contract option for the third ship must be exercised by the end of November 2019 for delivery in November 2021.
The wellboats will each have an LOA of 84.8 metres, a beam of 16.9 metres, a full load draught of 6.5 metres, three cylindrical live fish tanks with a total capacity of 3,250 cubic metres, and accommodation for 12 persons.
