Iceland's Trefjar Shipyard has delivered a fast workboat to the Brittany port of Le Conquet for skipper Jean-Philippe Vaillant.

Fitted out for netting and crabbing with a GMH hauler, Net-Op net stacker and a Marine Hydraulic slave hauler, the 15-metre Kalon Islands accommodates a crew of five in bunks and features a toilet, shower, galley, mess area and heated oilskin store.

Powered by a Caterpillar engine, the 30GT vessel has a midships fishroom with capacity for 41 460-litre tubs.
