Pella Shipyard begins building crabber pair for local operator

Pella Shipyard has begun construction on two Project 03070 crab boats for local fishing company Ostrovnoy-Crab.

The ice-class newbuildings will each have an LOA of 50.45 metres, a beam of 12.53 metres, a crew of 28, and an RSW storage capacity of 461 cubic metres. One 1,200kW main engine will deliver a service speed of 12 knots.

Once completed, the vessels will be equipped for catching blue, snow, and red king crab.
