Trefjar newbuilds delivered to Nordland owners

FISHING/AQUACULTURE WEEK

Icelandic builder Trefjar has delivered two newbuild fishing vessels in a series to separate owners in northern Norway’s Nordland County.

The 9.6-metre, GRP-hulled vessels are equipped for longlining, gillnetting, and potting. One boat has been delivered to Trygve Magnus Johnsen of Alsvåg while the other has been handed over to Ove Alvestad of Sortland.

Each newbuild is powered by one FPT N67 313kW engine and has onboard space for up to 14 380-litre fish tanks. Amenities include a galley and berths for up to three people.
