Severnaya Verf lays keel of third Project MT1112XL longliner
United Shipbuilding Corporation’s (USC) Severnaya Verf has laid the keel of the third longliner/processor under Project MT1112XL.
Named Gandvik-3, the vessel is scheduled to be delivered to Virma Fishing Company in the first quarter of 2021.
The 59- by 13-metre longliner will fish for cod and haddock in the Northern Atlantic and the Barents and Norwegian Seas and will have a processing capacity of 30 tonnes of fish per day.
