Nuuk fisherman takes delivery of Bredgård Boats newbuild

Fisherman Anthon Egede of Nuuk, Greenland, has taken delivery of a new multi-purpose vessel from Denmark-based Bredgård Boats.

The vessel has been named Mille Kuka after the owner’s grandson. It has an LOA of 14.99 metres, a beam of 6.67 metres, a 60-cubic-metre fishroom, one Volvo Penta D13 372kW main engine, and equipment for longlining, crabbing, and netting.

Design work on Mille Kuka was provided by Borghegn Yachtdesign of Denmark.
