Norwegian builder Stadyard has completed construction on a new longliner/netter for Stormhav, a fishing company in the country’s northern Troms og Finnmark county.

The 28- by 9.5-metre vessel has been named Stormhav. It is the eighth in a series designed by Seacon Engineering of Poland and completed by Stadyard for the same owner.

The hull was built at an unnamed Polish yard while final assembly took place at Stadyard’s facilities in Raudeberg.

Stormhav also features accommodation for up to 14 people and a refrigerated fishroom with 206-cubic-metre capacity.

The vessel will be delivered to its new owners before the end of the month.
