Marin Teknikk has been contracted by Danish fishing company Østervold to design a longliner/seiner powered by a battery hybrid propulsion system.
The 67- by 14-metre vessel will be designed to run on either diesel fuel or electricity depending on the operating profile.
Construction will take place at Turkey’s Tersan Shipyard with delivery of the vessel expected in the second quarter of 2021.
