Navimon orders eight longliners from Piriou

Piriou will build eight longliners for Navimon, with the first two vessels due for delivery by the end of 2018.

The 20.7-metre-long vessels will be used for tuna longline fishing in the New Caledonia economic exclusive zone of the Pacific Ocean.

The 340kW diesel-run vessels have a storage capacity of 75 cubic metres.

The remaining vessels are scheduled for delivery before the end of 2020.
