Nodosa nears completion of trawler for Kutterfisch

The first of two trawlers under construction at Nodosa Shipyard for Kutterfisch has been painted and is ready to be equipped.

Both vessels are 35 metres long by 10 metres wide. They are each 660 gross tonnes, are equipped with ABC main engines and will operate at a speed of 11 knots.

The wet fish trawlers will be able to accommodate 12 passengers each across six cabins.

The first of the two vessels was launched by Nodosa for the first time in March of this year.

The two vessels are expected to be delivered at the end of 2018 and will be operating in the North Sea.
