Trefjar delivers autoliner to Norwegian owners

A newbuild autoliner has been delivered to brothers Andre and Karl Vikan of Florø near Trondheim.

Named Vigrunn, the boat was built by Trefjar of Iceland specifically for fishing for groundfish and crab as well as fish farm support duties.

Vigrunn has a length of 9.9 metres, a width of 3.6 metres, a draught of one metre, a working deck area of 18.7 square metres, and a fish holding capacity of 10 cubic metres. Propulsion is provided by one FPT C90 305kW main engine.
