Swedish-Norwegian partnership to expand aquaculture service portfolio

Swedish engineering firm AFRY and Norwegian aquaculture consultancy Morefish have entered into a partnership with the aim of serving customers with land-based aquaculture projects.

By combining AFRY’s experience in land-based fish farms and project management with Morefish’s expertise in fish biology and recirculation aquaculture system (RAS) technology, the companies will support clients across a broad scope of activities from the formulation of business ideas to the operation of finalised projects.

The partnership will support customers in Norway and internationally. The partnership agreement was signed at the beginning of 2023 while the new venture will be formally launched before the end of August.
