Norway’s Åkenes Kystfiske takes delivery of combination vessel

Norwegian fishing company Åkenes Kystfiske has taken delivery of a new aluminium combination vessel from local builder Grovfjord Båtbyggeri.

Designed by NSK Ship Design, Signe has a length of 11 metres, a beam of 5.6 metres, and a hold capacity of 30 cubic metres.

The newbuild is designed primarily to operate as an aquaculture support workboat but may also be configured to fish for cod and blue halibut depending on the season.
