Construction starts on net cleaning boat for NZ operator
FISHING/AQUACULTURE WEEK
Construction has begun on a new support workboat slated for aquaculture operator New Zealand King Salmon.
The catamaran craft will have a length of 18 metres and will be used principally as a net cleaning vessel for offshore conditions.
Design work for the vessel was provided by Australian naval architects Southern Ocean Solutions.
