CIMC Raffles launches new floating salmon farm for Nordlaks

Yantai CIMC Raffles Shipyard has launched a new floating fish farm ordered by Norwegian aquaculture company Nordlaks.

Designed by NSK Ship Design, Havfarm 1 will be the first of a planned two 430-metre-long stationary steel platforms each capable of accommodating up to 10,000 tonnes of salmon.

Havfarm 1 is expected to be delivered to Norway this coming summer.
