Big Dan's Fishing Charters of Homer, Alaska, has unveiled the first images of a new overnight excursion boat slated to join its fleet in time for the 2022 recreational fishing season.
The vessel will have a length of 15.2 metres, a beam of 5.5 metres, and certification to transport up to 18 passengers. Amenities will include eight private sleeping bunks along with two queen-size beds in the pilot house and two folding dinettes that convert into berths.
Power will be provided by four Yamaha outboard engines.
Construction will take place at a shipyard in Washington State.
