BOOK REVIEW: Naval Archives – Volume 6

Edited by Damian Majsak

This is the sixth in a series of “bookazines” published, perhaps unusually, in Poland and printed in English. To be even more different it comes with 3D glasses to enhance the experience of viewing many of its pictures. A strange but fascinating reading experience.

The editor and publisher are obviously warship “tragics”. They have gone to considerable trouble to dig up some quite brilliant photographs and drawings of some most interesting warships, both contemporary and historic.

An excellent read for its creator’s warship “tragic” contemporaries around the world and a fascinating series to subscribe to. The chapter on the current state of the PLA Navy, alone, makes the publication worth buying.
