Uruguay Navy issues buoy tender RFP
The National Navy of Uruguay recently issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a new buoy tender for operations on the Uruguay River.
The vessel must have a length of 30 metres, a beam of eight metres, a draught of 1.5 metres, and a displacement of 300 tonnes.
The RFP indicated Damen’s 24- by nine-metre multi-purpose workboat as an option that would meet the navy’s criteria.
