Seabourn Cruise Line’s newest expedition ship hits the water

Seabourn Cruise Line’s newest expedition ship was christened and launched in a ceremony at the facilities of Italian shipyard T Mariotti on Wednesday, August 11.

Seabourn Venture is scheduled to sail on its inaugural season on April 10, 2022, with the ship exploring the UK coast on its maiden voyage.

The ship will now move from its dry dock to its outfitting dock at the yard, where it will undergo final construction until delivery.

Seabourn Venture is designed and built according to PC6 Polar Class standards and will include modern hardware and technology that will extend its global deployment and capabilities. Its array of expedition vehicles will include two custom-built submarines, 24 rubber boats, and kayaks.
